Ingredients:
- Curd and Honey
- Kaolin Clay- 1 teaspoon
- Honey – 1 teaspoon
- Hung Curd – 1 teaspoon
- Argan Oil (Optional) – few drops
How to apply:
Apply this homemade recipe on your face, slowly massage it into your skin. Keep it for 10-15 minutes and wash it with lukewarm water.
You can use this face wash at night. You may not need any moisturizer after this face wash if you are using Argan oil. In the morning you will experience a healthy glow on your skin.
Kaolin Clay is known to be a natural cleanser and exfoliator. It absorbs excess oil and moisturizes your skin. It is used in several cosmetics like facewash, shampoo, scrubs, etc.
Honey has moisturizing as well as antibacterial properties which help moisturize and gives you younger-looking skin.
Curd provides the natural oils required for your skin. Also, it helps remove pimples, scars, blemishes and gives you clearer skin.
Argan Oil– People with dry skin, experience wrinkles earlier than oily skin people. Argan oil contains Omega-3 which is found helpful in boosting collagen and reducing fine lines. It helps protect skin from sun damage. Argan oil has a long list of benefits tested and proven over the years.

Another homemade mask that proves to cleanse your skin without drying is:
2) Banana Olive Oil
- Banana – half
- Honey – 1 teaspoon
- Kaolin Clay – 1 teaspoon
- Olive Oil – 1/2 teaspoon
How to apply:
Mash half a banana in a bowl. Add honey and olive oil. Mix it with kaolin clay and form a paste. Apply this paste on your face and massage slowly in circular motions. Let it stay for 10-15 minutes and then wash.
Banana contains a high level of antioxidants and works as a natural Botox. It brightens skin and reduces wrinkles.
Olive oil, besides having antioxidant properties, has vitamins like A, D, E and K. Considered as a nourishing oil, it has healthy fats that are preferred in cooking.

3) Urad Dal
- Urad Dal (peeled) – ¼ cup
- Honey – 1 teaspoon
How to apply:
Soak urad dal overnight. Grind it in the morning. To this paste add honey and apply it to your face. Leave it for 15 minutes to half an hour. Once it dries it sticks to the skin. Apply little water and massage. Rinse it with lukewarm water. Use a wet towel to remove the remaining pack.
Urad dal has moisturizing properties. It removes excess oil from the skin and clears pores.
4) Papaya Honey Coconut oil
- Papaya – a thin slice
- Coconut oil – 1 teaspoon
- Kaolin Clay- 1 teaspoon
- Honey- 1 teaspoon
How to apply:
Peel and mash the papaya in a bowl. Add honey and coconut. Mix well with Kaolin clay and form a paste. Apply this paste on your face and keep it for 15 minutes and rinse.
Papaya – helps in reducing the signs of aging. Promotes the secretion of collagen which is the primary component in maintaining the elasticity of the skin. It acts as a skin exfoliator and improves skin texture. It also helps in getting rid of blemishes and pigmentation.
Coconut oil is ages old remedy for most skin problems. It heals soothes and improves the condition of the skin. It has hydrating properties making it suitable for dry skin.
