Face wash

Washing your face is the first step in your daily skincare regime. For people with oily skin, they must cleanse twice. But don’t overdo it. Choose your soaps carefully. Do not opt for harsh, full of chemicals, face washes. Switch to a light soap, like glycerin soap, or a natural face wash that doesn’t dry out your skin.

Blotting sheets

Blotting sheets can be used to get rid of extra oils from your face. They are easily available and don’t cost you much. You can always carry one in your bag as it comes in handy in an emergency. It can be used at any time.

Honey Packs

People have used honey to keep their skin moisturized since the beginning of time. It is a natural humectant that keeps your skin moist by retaining water and removing the extra oil. You can use it on skin that is oily or has a lot of acne.

Tip: Honey can help with acne and greasy skin if you apply it to your face in a thin layer and let it dry for about 10 minutes. Rinse your face well with warm water.

Clay Packs

Cosmetic clays can also be used to treat a wide range of dermatological problems. For oily skin and acne, French green clay is very good.

Tips: Mix one teaspoon of clay with filtered water or rosewater to make a paste. Apply the paste and rinse with warm water. Wipe it dry.

Egg white helps to shrink pores. Lemons have antibacterial properties and Vitamin C that help your skin feel fresh and rejuvenated. Moreover, lemon helps reduce pigmentation, and egg white works as an antiageing treatment.

Almond facial

Ground almonds not only exfoliate your skin but also help get rid of bad oils

Tip: Use almond oil to make your face scrub.

Grind almonds finely in a mixie. Add 2 tablespoons of raw honey to the mix as well. Apply it to your face and massage gently in circular motions. Let it stay for 10- 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water.

Aloe vera gel:

Aloe vera can help soothe the irritation on your skin caused by acne. Be it in the form of gel or a pack aloe vera proves to be a wonder herb.

Keeping the skin dry is important but it is equally important to provide the necessary moisture and maintain the ph balance of skin.
